"오피스텔"이라는 지극히 멀쩡한 부동산 상품 때문에 딱히 검색어 제한도 없는데다 음침하기 짝이없는 사창가 같은 데보단 겉으로는 평범한 오피스텔에 묻어가는 느낌이다. 다만 '오피'라고 줄여 말하면 이쪽의 의미로 말하는 경우가 더 많다. 거의 무방비하다 싶을 정도로 뒤쪽 세계에서는 맛집 탐방기 같은 경험담이 넘쳐나는 것을 볼 수 있고 강남, 비강남 가릴 것 없이 거의 전국적으로 영업이 성행된다는 것을 알 수 있다.
